Nail bed prep is the KEY!

• Great wear starts with good prep! If the nail surface is too smooth or air bubbles get trapped underneath, your nails won’t last.
• Clean your nails before and after applying glue.
• Use an alcohol pad, acetone, or another cleansing product after filing and before applying gel to remove dirt and oils. This ensures perfect look and lasting hold.
• Avoid getting gel on your skin. If gel gets on your skin, wipe it off before curing under the lamp. Gel hardened on skin can cause allergies over time.
• Cover the nail edges too. When using Mani PROTECT IT and TOP IT gel, apply it also on the edges and tips. This keeps your design looking fresh longer.
• Cure your nails properly. Make sure your fingers are positioned so the UV light reaches the nail edges and tips. We reccommend curing the thumbs seperately.

• The nail wasn’t properly prepared. If the nail surface was too smooth, unclean, or oily, the glue couldn’t stick well.
• Air bubbles got trapped under the glue. Air bubbles allow moisture to get underneath, reducing durability.
• The glue didn’t cure fully. If the glue didn’t get enough light under the UV lamp, it didn’t cure properly, so the nail didn’t hold.
